Dr. Brown

Dr. April Brown was born and raised in Hope, Arkansas. In 2001, she graduated from Hope High School as valedictorian of her class. She attended Ouachita Baptist University and earned her Bachelor of Science degree with Summa Cum Laude status. In 2004, she attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Kentucky and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and also completed her Masters in Oral Biology at the same time.
While in dental school, Dr. Brown was involved in the Louisville American Student Dental Association, the Christian Medical/Dental Association,

and the Alpha Omega dental fraternity. She was appointed to a position on the Dental School Admissions Committee and was the Colgate liaison for the entire school in her junior and senior years.
In 2008, Dr. Brown continued her education at the University of Texas at San Antonio Health Science Center with the completion of a three year orthodontic residency. While in residency, she treated a range of patients from ages 7 to 71, with a variety of orthodontic needs.
Dr. Brown is married to Jesse Brown from Texarkana, Arkansas. They are childhood sweethearts and enjoy hunting and fishing. She also likes to cook and sing. They are members of Oak Hills Christian Church, where they volunteer in the church nursery.

Jessica

Jessica Lopez is a skilled, x-ray certified, dental assistant with 10 years of experience. She will ensure each person who enters our office has a pleasant experience with their orthodontic care. Raised in the Hill Country, Jessica is a 1996 Ingram High School graduate. As a high school cheerleader, a Kerr County Duchess, and a performer in local musicals Jessica has always enjoyed playing an active role in the community.

She is married to Adolfo Lopez and together they have 4 children. Jessica loves to sing and dance. Her hobbies include "tinkering in the garden, taking her kids to the park, walking her dogs, going to the river, and singing and dancing around the house with her children." Jessica loves orthodontics and living in the Hill Country.

Lucy

Lucy is a 1983 Tivy High School graduate. She earned a BSBA- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Chapman University in Orange, California. After being away for 26 years she is glad to be back in Kerrville with her mother, 5 sisters, and 18 nieces and nephews that she spoils.
She is a Navy wife, married to Retired Naval Aviator, Commander

Randall Ramel. They decided to make Kerrville their home after 22 years of service to the US Navy. Their last assignment was in Kingston, Jamaica, where CDR Ramel worked as the Naval Defense Attaché and Lucy worked for the US STATE Department as the Community Liaison Officer for 3 years.
Lucy greets our patients with a warm smile. She is responsible for keeping our office running smoothly and effectively manages our patient scheduling and accounts.
